We are a mental health service that aims to connect you to a team of accredited mental health professionals through online tele/video consultations. Here, you are able to view profiles and areas of expertise of our team of psychologists and social workers to find the best fit for you based on your needs. Once you have found a mental health professional, you can request to book an appointment based on the date and time that suits. We also offer a phone concierge service on 1300 919 658 to support you in all aspects of your journey in connecting to a mental health professional, such as getting a referral and Mental Health Care Plan, booking queries and Medicare claims.
Our accredited mental health professionals have experience working with a wide variety of mental health concerns including: depression, bullying, grief & loss, stress, self-esteem, anxiety & phobia, abuse, family violence, adjustment difficulties, trauma-related disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and autism spectrum disorder.
All our sessions are currently conducted through telehealth (with online video conferencing capabilities). Once you have made a booking with our practitioner, you will receive a confirmation via email and/or SMS. On the day of the appointment, you will receive an SMS with the link to start your telehealth session with your practitioner during the appointment time.
If you have not seen a psychologist or social worker before, we understand the process can be potentially confusing. If you are looking to book in a session with a practitioner for the first time, there are a couple of considerations such as specialty or availability. Are you looking for someone that has a specific specialty or experience in a particular issue? Or are you just looking to connect with someone as soon as possible? Either way our site allows you to search for a practitioner by specialty or availability. Once you’ve found a practitioner who you would like to connect with on your preferred date and time, select the ‘book now’ button. If you are still unsure and have more questions (such as how to get a referral, or how to claim for the Medicare rebate), our team can assist you via phone on 1300 919 658.
Please note that if you are in a crisis situation or you are having suicidal thoughts and need to speak to someone immediately, please call 000 or an appropriate resource which can provide immediate help: Beyond Blue (1300 22 46 36), Lifeline Australia (13 11 14) or Suicide Call back service (1300 659 467)
As part of the appointment booking process; we will require you to provide your credit card details. We will pre-authorize your credit card for the full session price. Following your consultation, we will then charge and invoice you the amount for your consultation.
You can view the pricing for each mental health professional in their View Profile page under the Pricing section.
All services will be charged in full at the time of service, however you may be able to reduce your out-of-pocket cost per session through the Medicare rebate which is paid to an eligible persons' account registered with Medicare. To claim the Medicare rebate, you will need a referral letter and current Mental Health Care Plan from your GP which has remaining sessions for the calendar year. If you have not done this already and would like us to help with that, please call us at 1300 919 658. Our team can guide you through the Medicare claims process from beginning to end, including uploading of documents.
No, you do not need a referral letter or a MHCP to make a booking with a practitioner. However, if you attend the appointment without a referral, you will incur the full out of pocket cost because you will not be eligible for the Medicare rebate.
At this point, our sessions with our team of psychologists and social workers are only conducted through Telehealth (with Online Video Conferencing capabilities).
Our mental health service is currently only available to those who are 18 years old or older.
